BOISE, Idaho – Washington State Tennis swept all six singles matches in straight sets en route to a 7-0 victory over Boise State Saturday at the Boas Indoor Tennis Center. With the win, the Cougars improve to 4-0 on the season while Boise State falls to 1-1.
Doubles opened the day and the Cougars swept all three matches to capture the opening point. At No. 2, WSU's and rode an early service break to a 6-4 victory over Pauline Ernstberger and Shauna Heffernan. The No. 1 match saw the Cougar duo of and lead from start to finish in a 6-4 win over Nicole Discenza and Lorelyz Marruffo, clinching the doubles point.
