Cougars Shut Out No. 7 Utah State in Scoreless Draw

LOGAN, Utah – The Washington State Cougar soccer team (3-3-3) played to a scoreless road draw at No. 7 Utah State, Thursday afternoon in Logan, Utah. The Cougars picked up their third shutout of the season in the 0-0 tie with goalkeeper earning her 17th career shutout.

Washington State becomes the only program this season to blank the top-10 Aggies, as Cooper made five saves in the shutout. The Cougars controlled the flow for much of the match, creating four shots on target in seven shot attempts, with possession through the midfield.

The draw marked the first road shutout by WSU against a top-10 opponent since Nov.
