PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State dominated the singles finals during the final day of play at the 2015 WSU Invitational at the WSU Outdoor Tennis Courts.
In the Crimson Flight, sophomore Donika Bashota remains undefeated in singles play after defeating Oregon’s Alyssa Tobita, 6-1, 7-6(7). She continues her stellar fall campaign by winning her third tournament championship of the fall season.
WSU’s Aneta Miksovska impressed at her first WSU Invitational, posting a decisive 6-3, 6-4 victory over teammate Lize Leenknecht, earning her the Cougar Flight singles crown. Junior Victoria Matejevic took home the championship of the WSU Flight in an exciting match as she defeated Oregon’s Micheline Aubuchon, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1.
