DES MOINES, Iowa -- The trio of Washington State track and field competitors - Alissa Brooks-Johnson, Brock Eager, and CJ (Craig) Allen - fared well at the 2018 USATF Outdoor Championships, held June 21-24, at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
Brooks-Johnson, from Doty, Wash., finished seventh in the women's heptathlon with a score of 5,850 points, just three points behind sixth-place. Brooks-Johnson ran the 100m hurdles in a time 13.91 seconds, cleared 5-feet 6 1/2 inches (1.69m) in the high jump, threw the shot put 41-2 1/4 (12.
