Cougars set to open outdoor season in Grand Canyon State and Spokane

PULLMAN, Wash. --Washington State men's and women's track and field team kicks off the outdoor season in Arizona at the GCU Invitational this Friday and Saturday. The Cougars will also send a smaller contingent of athletes to Spokane to compete in the Sam Adams Classic at Boppell Track in the Whitworth Pine Bowl on Saturday.

The GCU Invitational commences with the women's hammer throw as the only event on Friday which begins at 2 p.m. Saturday's field events start at 1 p.m. with the javelin, and the running events start at 5 p.m. with the women's 4x100 relay.
