FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – The Washington State swim team completed day one of the Pac-12 Championships Friday.
The Cougars started off the day with a season-best time in the 200 medley relay. Freshman , senior , and sophomores and clocked a 1:42.57 for eighth place.
The Cougars then turned around to complete another season-best relay. Freshman , sophomore , freshman , and junior worked together to touch the wall in 7:22.98 in the 800 free relay.
"Our girls had a lot of high energy tonight, and some nerves, said head coach . "Hopefully we got those nerves out of our system and we can be a little bit sharper tomorrow.
