Cougars' Season Ends with CBB Crown Exit to Georgetown

LAS VEGAS – The Washington State men's basketball team lost to the Georgetown Hoy, 82-85, Monday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the first round of the inaugural College Basketball Crown.

Big Picture: The Cougars 2024-25 season under first-year head coach David Riley concludes with the second-most wins by a first-year coach in program history, a fourth-consecutive postseason berth, and a sixth-consecutive season at .500 or better.

Player Performances: LeJuan Watts had a team-high 22 points, eight rebounds and five assists. In his final college game, Ethan Price scored 15 points and added six rebounds, while fellow senior Dane Erikstrup had 15 points.
