A combination of defensive lapses and some nice receptions allowed the WSU Cougars’ offense to have its day in the sun at training camp.
LEWISTON, Idaho — For a while, it looked like the offense was going to do all the shining at training camp on Sunday.
Defensive coordinator Alex Grinch was frustrated with some easy touchdowns that were the result of defenders mixing up assignments or losing sight of the offensive player.
The offense’s success was due in no small part to a very large receiver. C.J. Dimry, a junior-college transfer, is listed at 6 feet 5, 200 pounds.
