PULLMAN, Wash. (April 5, 2025) – Washington State rallied with two runs in the 11 as brought home the game-winner with a sacrifice fly for a 6-5 series-clinching win over San Jose State in front of a Bailey-Brayton Field sellout crowd of 2,494 Saturday afternoon.
It was the first sellout since 2015 and WSU's second extra-inning win this week after beating Gonzaga 7-6 in ten innings Tuesday in Spokane.
The Cougars rallied for a 5-4 deficit with a pair of runs in the bottom of the 11 inning as worked a pinch-hit one-out walk and followed with a pinch-hit double down the right field line to put runners on second and third.
