PULLMAN, Wash. – Twelve players on the Washington State women’s basketball scored, as the Cougars (11-4, 2-2 Pac-12) defeated the Arizona Wildcats (10-5, 1-2 Pac-12), 67-46, Friday at Beasley Coliseum. The Cougars recorded their second-straight conference win behind strong play from the WSU bench, which outscored Arizona’s, 43-16.
WSU senior Mariah Cooks led the Cougars in scoring and rebounds. The Santa Maria, Calif., native scored 15 points, and pulled in a game-high nine rebounds. Cooks was assisted by freshman Borislava Hristova who added 14 points. In total, twelve Cougars scored and all 14 players on the WSU roster entered the game.
