GOLD RIVER, Calif. – Washington State University rowing’s varsity four matched its best finish in school history as the Cougars placed third as a team, their best finish since 2008, at the 2015 Pac-12 Rowing Championships, Sunday, under a strong headwind, but good water conditions at Lake Natoma near Sacramento, Calif.
“This team has worked really hard and we aren’t ready to stop yet,” WSU head coach Jane LaRiviere said. “We’ll have the NCAA Championships in less than two weeks and we are looking forward to improving our racing.”
Washington was just one race shy of capturing the Pac-12 Championship as the Huskies won every women’s race besides the varsity eight.
