MONTEREY, Calif. (September 30, 2024) – Washington State Women's Golf senior Sarah Skovgaard Bils finished the opening day at The Molly Collegiate Invitational in a tie for No. 12 after finishing two-over through the first two rounds Monday.
Skovgaard Bils opened the day with a two-over 74 in the first round before recording five birdies in the afternoon's second round for a 72, good for a four-way tie for 12th place. Sophomore Sara Pineros carded an opening-round 79 while freshman Agnes Brink posted a second-round 78.
Through 36 holes, WSU sits in 11th place after shaving five strokes its opening round total.
