MOSCOW, Idaho. — Washington State Track and Field continued its early indoor season at the 2025 Lauren McCluskey Memorial Open Friday at the Kibbie Dome. and each won their respective events while Cougar athletes set 10 personal best performances to go along with four season-best performances to highlight the first day.
Hottman won the men's weight throw, achieving a personal best throw of 18.56 meters. This is the second weekend in a row where Hottman recorded personal best throws, doing so last weekend at the Spokane Sports Showcase. His throw was more than 0.4 meters better than the second-place finisher.
