Cougars land DE for 2016 class

Washington State has added their 14th commit for the 2016 season when Mason Vinyard committed to the Cougs on Tuesday. The 6-5, 200-lb defensive end out of Helix High School in La Mesa, California has lined up all across the high school field. Vinyard is listed as a TE, played at WR, committed as a DE, and will more than likely play LB for the Cougars. Ranked as the 49th TE by 247 sports, he looks to be a great addition.

The 3-star offensive recruit will more than likely play on the other side of the ball and multiple reports see him lining up as the rush defensive end or the rush linebacker.
