SPOKANE, Wash. -- A concentrated contingent of Washington State competitors tallied 13 wins and six lifetime-best marks Thursday and Friday at the 12th Whitworth University Sam Adams Classic meet in at the Pine Bowl/Boppell Track in Spokane.
Less than a week after (redshirt sophomore, Renton, Wash.) tossed a personal-record in the hammer that was sixth-best in WSU all-time records, Eager surpassed that mark with a throw of 225-feet 1 inch (68.68m) to win the men's hammer Thursday afternoon. His Sam Adams Classic mark moves him up to fourth-best in WSU all-time records in an event where the top 10 had been dormant for 18 years.
