BURNABY LAKE, British Columbia - The Washington State University women’s rowing team competed in its first regatta of the fall season, the Burnaby Lake Small Boat Classic, Saturday under pristine conditions. The Cougars raced one single and seven pairs.
“The regatta itself is an original,” Head Coach Jane LaRiviere said. “It was awesome to have 20 women’s pairs in the same event, starting with the four kilometer and finishing with the 250 meter sprint for the top six finishers.”
In the flight of pairs, WSU’s A pair (Savannah Davison, Isabella Watt) recorded the second best time at 16:35.
