CLOVIS, Calif./ CORVALLIS, Ore. — Washington State men's and women's track and field teams combined for three top-10 all-time times between two meets on Saturday; the Oregon State High Performance Meet and the Fresno State Invitational.
Elena Willems posted the sixth-fastest women's 800-meter (2:05.48) in WSU history to place second at the Whyte Track and Field Center in Corvallis while down in California, Jasneet Nijjar improved to third all-time in the women's 400-meter dash (53.16) while placing sixth, and Jared McAlvey clocked a 50.24 — tied for seventh all-time at WSU — to win the men's 400m hurdles.
