PULLMAN, Wash. (May 11, 2024) – Washington State dropped game two of the series 9-4 with USC at Bailey-Brayton Field Saturday afternoon.
Washington State (21-28, 9-17 Pac-12) received two-hit games and homers from and while singled home a pair of runs. Cougars starting pitcher worked into the seventh inning, allowing three earned runs on six hits and struck out five.
USC (23-27, 13-12 Pac-12) collected 15 hits and erased a 3-2 deficit with a five-run seventh inning and added two more in the eighth to even the series.
