PULLMAN, Wash. (April 29, 2025) – Washington State dropped a 7-6 nonconference matchup to Gonzaga in ten innings at Bailey-Brayton Field Tuesday night.
The Cougars tied the game with two runs in the eighth inning but a dropped fly ball in the top of the tenth put the go-ahead on third base and Gonzaga followed with a one-out squeeze bunt to take the 7-6 lead.
Washington State received a career high four hits from who doubled and drove in a run while collected two hits, drove in a career-high three runs and scored twice including the game-tying run on a wild pitch in the eighth.
