PULLMAN, Wash. (April 14, 2024) – Washington State dropped the series-finale to California 8-2 at Bailey-Brayton Field Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars (17-17, 7-11 Pac-12) left 11 runners on base and made it a one-run game with a run in the third but Cal (20-14, 8-10 Pac-12) answered with two in the fourth, two in the sixth and two more in the eighth.
First baseman collected two hits including a double and run scored while singled in the eighth inning to extend his on-base streak to 24 games.
