LAS VEGAS (Hayden Wysup) – Washington State lost to San Francisco, 75-86, Sunday night in the quarterfinals of the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Basketball Championship.
Player Performances: Ethan Price led the team in scoring with 26 points, two shy of his career high, and six rebounds. LeJuan Watts added 20 points and three assists. Nate Calmese recorded his first career double-double with 16 points and career-high 11 assists.
Turning Point: With the Cougars trailing by only two points early in the second half, the Dons went on a 14-5 run to extend their lead to 52-41.
