PULLMAN, Wash. (April 16, 2023) – Washington State dropped the series-finale 14-8 to Arizona at Bailey-Brayton Field Sunday afternoon.
WSU (21-13, 7-10 Pac-12) received a four-hit game from , two hits and two RBI from and homered and drove in three runs. Cougar starter worked into the sixth inning, allowed one earned run and struck out five.
Arizona improved to 18-15 overall and 6-12 in conference play after erasing a 4-1 Cougar lead with seven runs in the seventh and five in the eighth.
WSU won the first two games of the weekend to clinch the series over the Wildcats for the second straight season after taking two of three in Tucson last year.
