SEATTLE, Wash. (Feb. 14, 2025) – The Washington State Women's Tennis team managed just one singles win as it dropped a 6-1 decision to Washington Friday afternoon at the Nordstrom Tennis Center. The Cougars fall to 7-3 on the season while Washington improves to 4-1.
The match began with doubles and Washington jumped out quick as its No. 3 team of McKenna Koenig and Carina Syrtveit rolled by WSU's and , 6-1. The Cougars responded at No. 1 where and dominated the nation's 35th-ranked duo, completing a 6-2 win over Reece Carter and Alexia Jacobs, pushing the deciding point to Court 2.
