SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (Feb. 7, 2025) – Washington State Tennis dropped a 7-0 decision to Cal Poly Friday afternoon at the Ronca Tennis Center. With the loss, the Cougars fall to 6-2 on the season.
In doubles action, the Mustangs captured the opening point by taking wins on Courts 1 and 3. At No. 1, Cal Poly's due of Kenedy Buntrock and Romane Mosse had little trouble with Eva Alvarez Sande and Maxine Murphy, 6-2. At No. 2, WSU's Elyse Tse and Chisato Kanemaki evened things up with a 6-4 win over Jessica MacCallum and Peyton Dunkle, pushing the deciding match to Court 3.
