PULLMAN, WASH. - Washington State swim fell to the reigning Mountain West Conference champions Boise State Sunday, 151-108. Seven Cougars swam season-best times in their respective events, while the Cougars garnered three individual first place finishes and a win in the 200 free relay.
Freshman Keiana Fountaine earned 16 points for the Cougars, as she was able to claim first place in the 200 free when she edged out Lauren Vitort from Boise State, finishing in a season-best time of 1:50.44. The Tracy, Calif. native also placed second in the 50 free, just two-hundredths of a second ahead of Emmie Jennings from Boise State.
