Cougars Continue Fall Camp With Practice No. 12

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State football practiced for 90 minutes in helmets and shoulder pads on Rogers Practice Field and Martin Stadium Thursday afternoon.

The practice schedule was scaled down for practice that was 30 minutes shorter than a normal workout. The Cougars went through individual position workouts, 7-vs.-7, some special team drills and again wrapped up with 11-vs.-11 team.

Redshirt-freshman quarterback Peyton Bender led the first series, connecting with junior wideout River Cracraft, dropping a throw just over two defenders for a big gain. The next play saw sophomore linebacker Frankie Luvu break up a pass and nearly came away with an interception.
