LEWISTON, Idaho – Washington State football continued fall practice with a 90-minute workout in helmets and shoulder pads at Sacajawea Junior High School Saturday afternoon.
The practice schedule was similar to previous days as WSU but each period was shortened. The Cougars went through individual position workouts, 7-vs.-7, some special team drills and again wrapped up with 11-vs.-11 team.
The first series, led by redshirt-freshman quarterback Peyton Bender saw the Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. native drop in a perfect pass to redshirt-junior wideout Gabe Marks for a 30-yard gain followed by a 10-yard completion to redshirt-sophomore running back Jamal Morrow coming out of the backfield.
