LEWISTON, Idaho – Washington State football continued fall practice with a two-hour workout in helmets and shoulder pads at Sacajawea Junior High School Thursday afternoon.
The practice schedule was similar to previous days as WSU went through individual position workouts, a 1-vs.-1 drill while the lines went against each other in the running game drill, 7-vs.-7, some special team drills and wrapping up with 11-vs.-11 team.
The first series featured a big hit from junior safety Shalom Luani who broke up the pass with the hit and redshirt-freshman Chandler Leniu came away with the interception for the defense.
