FAIRFIELD, Calif. (April 25, 2025) – Junior Sam Renner shot a two-under, 70, to lead Washington State Men's Golf in the second round of the 2025 West Coast Conference Men's Golf Championships, Friday at the 6,570-yard, pqr-72 Green Valley Country Club.
As a team, the Cougars are 9-over, 585, and in 10th place following Friday's 36 holes. Pepperdine (-30) leads after Day 1 by seven strokes of Loyola Marymount and eight over Santa Clara.
After firing an even-par 70 in his 18 holes Friday, Renner came back in the afternoon with six birdies in his round.
