PORTLAND, Ore. – Washington State volleyball concluded the North Portland Marriott Invite Saturday morning with a sweep of Idaho.
Set scores from the match were: 27-25, 25-17, and 25-18 in favor of the Cougars (5-1).
The Cougars dominated right from the beginning in this contest against Idaho (2-4), with a 6-0 run fueled by four service aces. and added some fire power as well, each picking up one kill during the run. Idaho countered with multiple small scoring runs of their own to see this match tied up at 8-8. The Cougars answered right back with a 4-0 run with multiple kills by to see the WSU advantage out to 13-9 overall.
