PULLMAN, Wash. (January 20, 2024) – Washington State Swimming claimed three events in a dual with fourth-ranked USC at Gibb Pool Saturday morning.
The Cougars saw sophomore win the 200 fly (1:59.93), sophomore claim the 200 breast (2:15.03) and freshman pick up her first career victory after winning the 200 IM (2:04.60). Southern California posted a 133.5-104.5 win.
WSU opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay before junior touched second in the mile at 16:56.42 and junior finished second in the 100 back (56.37). Lundgren was impressive in the breaststroke events, finishing second in the 100 and won the 200 by nearly seven seconds.
