Just how effective have Washington State’s 3-point shooters been this season?

The Cougars are averaging 13 3’s per game – best among Pac-12 teams and good enough for second in college basketball. The only team making more is the same one that produced the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry. That’s Davidson, at 13.5 makes per game, though that number’s slightly skewed given the Wildcats have played four games to the Cougars’ six.

“The thing about this team that I’ve said all along is it’s a great shooting team and it’s the best shooting team I’ve coached in practice,” WSU coach Ernie Kent said Tuesday.
