LEWISTON, Idaho – Washington State football continued fall practice with a two-hour workout at Sacajawea Middle School Monday afternoon.
The Cougars added shoulder pads for the first time this season after opening the first two days in shorts and helmets. The practice schedule was similar to previous days as WSU went through individual position workouts, a 1-vs.-1 drill while the lines went against each other in the running game drill, 7-vs.-7, some special team drills and wrapping up with 11-vs.-11 team.
In the team session, Peyton Bender connected on his first three passes, two to River Cracraft, before a deflection on his fourth attempt ended up in the hands of freshman defensive back Hunter Dale.
