PULLMAN, Wash.— The Washington State women's track and field team claimed victory over the University of Washington at the WSU-UW Dual, as both the Cougar men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Mooberry Track and field for the first time since 2018.
In a tightly contested dual meet, the WSU women's team won the meet, 94-69, and became the first Cougar team to beat the Huskies in the WSU-UW Dual series since 2018. The Cougar women claimed eight event wins on the day in the process.
Leading the way for the Washington State women's team in its dual meet win was senior Anna Rodgers.
