The hot start for June Daugherty the the Cougars was slowed a bit Tuesday night in their Pac-12 opener.
Washington State fell to Washington 79-64 thanks to another stellar performance from the nation's leading scorer, Husky junior Kelsey Plum. She entered the game averaging 27.6 points per game (more than 3 more than the person in 2nd) and it will be even higher after the game after a 33 point performance.
The Cougars were able to hang close in the early going, but sloppy play allowed UW to run away with the game, turning the ball over 21 times.
