FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – Senior broke the school record in the 200 IM as the Washington State swim team completed the second day of competition at the Pac-12 Championships at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center. The Cougars are in eighth place with 148 points.
In the 200 IM preliminaries, Bursch clocked a time of 1:59.34, breaking the school record she set last year at the Pac-12 Championships by 0.53 seconds. In the finals, the Spokane, Wash., finished 15th with 1:59.51 to earn the Cougars 12 points. This time qualified as an NCAA 'B' Standard time.
