WSU Football enters the bye week but there is no shortage of action across the WSU athletic landscape.
On Sunday the soccer team suffered its first defeat (or non-win) of the season, falling 2-0 to Portland. It really is a shame, as a victory would have secured a perfect non conference record for 2015.
A goal in the 24th minute from Portland’s Parkes Kendrick and second from Noelle La Prevotte in the 53rd minute accounted for all of the scoring in this one. Hats off to 1st-year coach Todd Shulenberger guiding his team to an impressive 7-1-0 start with the conference slate set to begin.
