Cougar Soccer Begins Fall Practice

PULLMAN, Wash. – Under the direction of first-year head coach Todd Shulenberger, the Washington State soccer team took its first step toward a fifth-straight NCAA postseason when it opened fall training, Wednesday.

The Cougars are coming off a 10-5-4 season and sixth-place finish in the Pac-12 Conference. In the 2015 NSCAA preseason poll, Washington State is receiving 20 votes.

Not only have the Cougars reached the postseason in each of the last four seasons, they have made six trips in the last seven years, one of only 25 schools nationally to accomplish the feat.

Washington State returns 19 student-athletes, including 17 letterwinners and six starters from its 2014 squad.
