Cougar golf trails the Pac after two days of competition

All of the WSU golfers carded between 5-over and 7-over for the round. Their team cumulative score of 305 (+21) on the day coupled with the previous day’s 299 puts them in last place in the tournament with a combined total of 604 (+36) which puts them 31 strokes behind co-leaders No. 28 Oregon and No. 3 UCLA.

Senior Kristen Rue recorded the individual highlight of the day as she recorded an eagle on the par-5, 490-yard 12th hole. Rue went on to shoot a 77 (+6) for the round, is currently tied for 25th place and leads the Cougs individually with a two-day score of 148 (+6).
