LEWISTON, Idaho – Washington State football continued fall practice with a two-hour workout in helmets and shorts at Sacajawea Middle School Sunday afternoon.
The Cougars opened practice by working through their similar routine of individual position workouts, a 1-vs.-1 drill while the lines went against each other in the running game drill, 7-vs.-7, before working punt coverage and wrapping up with 11-vs.-11 team.
In the team session, the defense opened the period with a big play as Kirkland Parker stepped in front of a Peyton Bender pass on the first play. Bender connected on a nice ball to Gabe Marks as the offense moved the ball better than on opening day.
