Heading into the top of the ninth inning on Saturday, the Cougars held a 6-4 lead and looked to be on the way to a terrific weekend. They had already won the first game of the series on Friday. Three more outs would give them the series, their fourth in their last five series.
By the end of Sunday, things felt a lot different. UCLA would go on to take the lead in that top of the ninth on Saturday and eventually win the game. On Sunday, the Bruin bats exploded to the tune of 16 runs.
