The Washington State baseball team held on for a 4-3 win at California on Sunday, giving the Cougars back-to-back wins against the Bears and securing the series victory. The Cougar offense has powered much of this season, but against the Bears it was the pitching staff leading the way.
The Cougar pitchers combined to allow just eight runs over the three-game series. On Sunday that included four scoreless innings from the bullpen to close out the game. Grant Taylor pitched the final 2 1⁄3 innings,
