It’s been lost season for the Miami Marlins, but former Cougar left-hander Adam Conley is proving himself as a big-leaguer. On Tuesday night Conley went six innings only allowing two runs on five hits while striking out five batters. Over his last three starts Conley has gone 19 innings with a miniscule 1.42 ERA, which bodes well for a rotation spot for 2016. This continues a very impressive season for the pitcher, as his minor league work before being called up led him to be named the Marlin organization Pitcher of the Year.
It’s been a steady rise for the Redmond native since he was drafted in the second round back in 2011.
