LOS ANGELES (April 5, 2025) – Despite capturing the opening doubles point, Washington State could not capitalize as Loyola Marymount won four singles matches in route to a 4-2 win over the Cougars in a West Coast Conference match Saturday at the LMU Tennis Center. With the loss, the Cougars dropped their first WCC match and fall to 13-6 overall, 3-1 in WCC play. LMU improves to 5-10, 3-2 in conference.
The Cougars struck first by winning the opening doubles point. and at No. 3 jumped out early then cruised to a 6-3 win over LMU's Fiona Arrese and Martina Bovio.
