PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State women's basketball team got back to its winning ways at Beasley Coliseum Sunday, Feb. 5, as the Cougars collected a 70-60 win over California in Pac-12 Conference action.
The Cougars posted the 10-point win over the Golden Bears thanks in large part to junior Charlisse Leger-Walker, who scored double-digit points for the first time in three games with a game-high 25-point effort against California. Leger-Walker shot a blistering 50 percent from the field in Sunday's win over Cal, as the Waikato, New Zealand native went 9-of-18 from the field and connected on four 3-point field goals.
