FAIRFAX, Calif. – Junior Amy Chu sits in a tie for 23rd place on the player leaderboard after two rounds of action on Monday, March 8, to lead the Washington State women's golf team at the Meadow Club Invitational.
Chu, who shared last year's Meadow Club Invitational title with fifth-year senior Marie Lund-Hansen, will head into Tuesday's, March 9, final round nine-strokes off the lead after carding 151 (+7) over the first and second round. The junior shot five-over par in her first round, but improved her score by three strokes in the second round, to end the round carding 74 (+2).
