CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Washington State women's golf team had two student-athletes recognized for their academic excellence by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Tuesday, July 5, as seniors Amy Chu and Darcy Habgood were both named WGCA All-American Scholars.
A total of 1,485 women's collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
For Chu, it is her fourth-consecutive WGCA All-American Scholar selection after earning the distinction in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
