PULLMAN, Wash. – Senior Chanelle Molina took over in the fourth quarter for the Washington State women's basketball team, as the senior scored 11 of her game-high 21 points in the final 10 minutes of play, to help the Cougars collect a 71-61 come-from-behind victory over CSUN in Beasley Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.
With the win, Washington State improves to 4-0 for just the fifth time in program history, joining the 1978-79, 1986-87, 1998-99 and 2015-16 squads in accomplishing the feat. The win also avenges a Cougar loss to the Matadors last season in Northridge, California.
