PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University rowing rising-seniors Morgan Cathrea and Nicole Hare have been selected to represent Canada at the 2015 World Rowing Under-23 Championships, July 22-26 at Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Rowing Canada Aviron announced.
Cathrea, a native of Victoria, British Columbia, and Hare, a native of Calgary, Alberta, were both chosen to compete with the women’s four (W4-) crew. They are joined in the boat by Caileigh Filmer of Victoria, B.C., who competes collegiately at California and Hillary Janssens of Surrey, B.C., who competes at the University of British Columbia. They will be coached by Michelle Darvill.
