WSU took home its home title for its first win of the season.

PULLMAN, Wash. - Bolstered by a championship finish out of their senior captain , the Washington State women's golf team captured it's home course title at the 2017 WSU Cougar Classic for its first tournament victory of the season. Playing in cold and wet conditions throughout the two-day tournament, the Cougs closed out play at Palouse Ridge Golf Club at nine-over par to hold off Sacramento State by six strokes. The win at home was WSU's sixth since the start of the tournament in 2008 while their team score of 873 was the fifth-best team total score while nine-over ranked fourth all-time in tournament history.
